This company of 100 men was composed entirely of Mexican Citizens; the majority of whom had been bandits preying on travelers along the Mexico City to Veracruz highway. The U.S. Mexican Spy Company operated as couriers, guides, and intelligence scouts, for Scott's army in Mexico as well as counter guerrillas on the Veracruz supply route.
Their uniforms consisting of short parrot green jackets with red facings, vaccaro style chaps and trousers, black sombreros and red penioned lances could be easily mistaken for Mexican Lancers.
Reviresco’s Mexican Spy Co. Kit consists of one 7 piece horse with saddle & bridal, one mounted Lancer figure.
Note: All figures sold as unpainted Kits
