The 7th Lancers of the Line fought at Palo Alto, Resaea de la Palma, Monterrey, Angastura, Contreras and the Valley of Mexico. Their uniform consisted of a red coat with white braid, green facings and green trousers. They wore a stovepipe shako with a red ball plume.
